How Can I Help You?
What is Hearing Loss Coaching?
Hearing loss coaching is a personalised process of support and guidance for individuals facing the practical and emotional challenges associated with hearing loss. Through a conversation and a relationship that delves into personal beliefs, values, behaviours, and purpose within the context of managing and adapting to hearing loss, hearing loss coaching provides strategies to enhance communication, cope with emotional aspects, and improve overall quality of life.
I provide a non-judgmental, unbiased space where you can freely explore your thoughts and emotions. I will ask you questions to better understand your current situation and to challenge anything that may be getting in the way of you creating change.
Through reflection and discussion, we can open up the pathway to realising your goals!
“I did three sessions with Carly Sygrove after being diagnosed with SSHL [sudden sensorineural hearing loss] and extremely intrusive tinnitus. The first few months of this situation were the most challenging that I ever faced and I believe my sessions with Carly helped ease my anxiety and put me on a path to acceptance and habituation to my “new normal.” I am sleeping through the night with no assistance and I am gaining a better mental approach to the trials of life in general. Sessions with Carly would be a good way to start that process if you were struggling..”
